I have walked down the road of so-called “freethought”,
where truth is sought exclusively through logic, reason, and empiricism.
I made scientific inquiry my idol; my only worship, my only way.
I’m here to tell you that that road leads to a dark dead end.
It reveals nothing of The Spirit’s way.
The road I’m traveling now is paved with faith,
is bathed in light, and leads to never-ending Truth.
